Uzi Island
Uzi Island, is an exclusive beach paradise, The island’s scenery is beautiful and lush with mangroves, banana plantations, baobab trees and huge mango trees. The island is part of a conservation area and is an ecosystem with seaweed, corals and a wide variety of plants.
The Island is located in the South of Zanzibar and it can only be accessed via a causeway which is accessible during low tide. When the water comes up, the road disappears, where you can then travel by traditional Dhow.
We organize:
- Dhow tour through the thick forest and lush mangroves, seaweed farming, bird watching in the mangroves, discovering secluded beaches that make the Island very unique
- Tour guide of the village
- Freshly prepared dinner in one of the beautiful beaches where the only light would be the stars in the sky and the fire cooking the fresh fish caught in the same afternoon.
- Swimming and snorkeling in pristine water
