Jambiani Women at Work

You will meet the colourful women of the village, who will give you an insight into local traditional activities. You will be able to take amazing pictures of the women you meet and village life plus the chance to purchase products made by the women you have met.

Learn about the traditional work that women in the village do such as seaweed farming and how to separate the coconut fibre and make coconut rope out of it, which is then used to make a variety of things. You will also learn how the women make traditional fencing out of palm leaves.
